Founder
Rania Fahmy, with over 28 years of experience in interior and furniture design, is the CEO and Senior Designer of R’Kan by Rania Fahmy, a pioneering design and art service.
After her graduation from the Inchbald School of Design in London, Fahmy’s journey in design began at Nada Allam where she honed her skills in residential and commercial interior projects. As a self-employed interior designer at Rfinteriors, she led numerous residential projects and served as the general consultant for commercial ventures. Notably, she played a pivotal role as the main consultant for all hair salons of Mohamed Sagheer from the late 1990s until 2010. In 2009, Fahmy embarked on a new endeavor with Arkan, changed to R’Kan by Rania Fahmy, for Furniture and Interiors, curating a showroom featuring imported furniture from over 20 companies.
Building on her passion for design, she ventured into furniture design and production locally in 2018. Four years later, in 2022, she unveiled R’Kan Edition, a multidisciplinary showroom and the first shop-in-shop concept specializing in functional art, where her intricate designs and compelling narratives come to life.
